History

The Washington State Dairy Federation (WSDF) is a non-profit trade association representing dairy producers on a wide variety of local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory issues.  Formed in 1892, WSDF is the oldest dairy trade association in the United States.  Today the Federation continues to be a voluntary membership organization representing approximately 330 dairy producers to work to promote a successful business climate for the dairy industry in Washington state.  Our responsibilities include maintaining dialogue with state regulatory agencies, working with elected officials, supporting research for the health and welfare of our livestock and the environment, and promoting the interests of our Washington dairy producers.
